My fiance and I had to take my little girl to get shots required for k1. Two days after shots she cried one day after I picked her up from daycare that her arm wouldn't stop moving. I figured it wasn't nothing major. Through the next few days she slowly started developing a head nod. It got worst as she would also have it in arms and legs. We ended up being sent to child neuro and tan test. Sleep eeg and cat scan came back with nothing on her brain. The doctor ended up saying to just keep an eye on things because it seemed they were going away completely. This all started in feb of this year and as of may 28th its minor but she does it every now and then still. I started to just say let's keep an eye on it but this is my first and only girl and if there is something I can do to help our situation I am. I don't want to look back if things get worse again and be too late. She got mmr and other vaccines that added up to 4 shots. If you have any advice call me at XXX XXX XXXX. I had the flu vaccine when pregnant with my son. Its the first time I had ever gotten a vaccine, I became sick from it and never received another one. My son only received one flu vaccine and severeral months to about a year later is when he became ill with the KD. I never thought much about vaccines being related until I came upon some articals by accident that I read and now this one. It has me curious. Being a mother of a child that had to go through what most KD patients go through makes for a desperate parent wanting to what and how this disease occurs. Thank You for your time.
